Fair Housing Contest!

AUTHORITY CELEBRATES FAIR HOUSING AWARENESS MONTH

You may not be aware that each April, we honor National Fair Housing Month in an effort to continue to work toward ending discrimination in housing across the country. The act was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson on April 11, 1968 and prohibits discrimination against homebuyers or renters due to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability.

Listed below are three questions related to Fair Housing. If you would like, email your answers, name, address and contact telephone number to info@tbhra.org no later than April 30, 2021. Anyone who answers all three questions correctly will be eligible for a drawing to win a $100.00 Visa gift card! One entry per person, please title your email Fair Housing Contest, drawing to take place on May 3, 2021 with the winner and correct answers to appear on the Authority’s website. If you do not have Internet or email access, please call (570)638-2152 in Tioga County or (570)268-4006 in Bradford County to enter.
