Representatives from the American Red Cross will be attending Fire Safety Meetings at Riverside Manor in Westfield and Forestview Manor in Elkland on Friday May 30th.

The local paramedics from Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital are offering a free program to all residents of Tioga County senior housing. In appreciation of residents in Tioga County, paramedics are bringing residents the FREE File of Life, Yellow DOT System and DOT Registry programs.

Children and parents in public housing enjoyed Easter celebrations last week. Children from Canton, Blossburg, Westfield, Elkland, Nelson and Lawrenceville - over 40 children in all - participated in local Easter parties hosted by the Housing Authority.

Resident Service Coordinators, with the help of the United States Postal Inspection Service, are currently hosting a Fraud Prevention Series throughout the housing authority'sbuildings to increase awareness of fraud, scams and identity theft
